RHONSON SAMSON NG

Having arrived fresh from Manila in 2003, RHONSON NG traveled to Davao in a backpack with the determined purpose of CLIMBING MOUNT APO, the highest peak in the country. Since then, he has explored Apo and all other peaks twice or thrice a year. (See photo gallery for his other adventures and nature photo shoots). He has also adopted Davao as his second home.

RHONSON NG used to work as the official photographer for the Department of Tourism XI before going freelance and opening his studio this year. Still, he works as a consultant to tourism projects that needed his expertise, while doing work for clients and establishments.

He has explored places in the Philippines through mountain climbing, caving, diving and living life on the edge. His photos are featured in local and national magazines (Lifestyle Asia, Metro, Your Guide, Action Asia, Discover Philippines and the recent cover page of  Mabuhay Magazine, the international inflight publication of Philippine Airlines), and newspaper publications. His images are also used in tourism brochures, posters, tarpaulins, and billboards. Currently, he is into exhibits, portraits, wedding and advertising photography, and is planning a series of workshops for newbie photographers who might want to get pointers from this multi-awarded but down to earth guy.
